PAUL NAZEMI, M.D.

Board Certified Ophthalmologist

Paul Nazemi, MD specializes in eyelid plastic and reconstructive surgery. He trained with Henry Baylis, M.D., the Founding Chief and Professor of the Division of Orbital and Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at Jules Stein Eye Institute-UCLA. He received his Medical Degree from the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, where he received academic honors. He completed his internship in medicine at the Los Angeles County, USC Medical Center, and his ophthalmology residency at Doheny Eye Institute at the USC School of Medicine.

Dr. Nazemi is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a fellow of the America Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Nazemi has received several honors and awards and published articles in peer reviewed medical journals. He has presented lectures and posters at national meetings. In his research he has collaborated with scientists at USC’s Doheny Eye Institute and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His research interests have included novel 3-D visual field testing in the early diagnosis and characterization of eye diseases affecting millions worldwide.
